Letter of Attestation Regarding F-1 Student Attendance Requirements


To Whom It May Concern:

This letter serves as official attestation that The Ogburn School maintains
attendance and academic progress policies in compliance with federal regulations governing nonimmigrant F-1 international students under the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP).

To maintain lawful F-1 nonimmigrant status, all international students enrolled at
The Ogburn School are required to maintain full-time enrollment and adhere to
standard daily attendance requirements. Attendance is recorded and monitored
daily by administrative staff and course instructors.

Specifically, F-1 students at The Ogburn School must:

• Maintain active daily attendance and participate in all scheduled instructional
  classes and coursework.
• Complete all assigned academic work in accordance with the established full-time
  course of study.
• Promptly report any unavoidable absences to the Designated School Official
  (DSO) with appropriate documentation.

Failure to meet these attendance and full-time study requirements without prior
authorization from the DSO constitutes a violation of institutional policy and SEVP
regulations, which may result in the termination of the student’s Form I-20 and F-1
status.
